Casual Friday Night Wear

 

Here's what I wore last night to a casual happy hour with friends and then to a movie (we saw Hotel Transylvania.  It was super cute!).  My belt is actually from H&M (Lord, please let them build an H&M in South Texas or please enable online shopping), and my earrings are actually from Amazon.  I'd been wanting this dress forever and was able to snatch it up on sale a few weeks ago. 

A soft and cozy workday outfit

Here's what I wore to work today.  My allergies were in full swing, and I wanted to be in something comfortable, since I didn't feel very well.  I bought this Anthropologie top last week, and it is absolutely wonderful.  I usually try and wait for their sales, but I couldn't pass this top up.  It's soft and cozy, and the sleeves are actually long enough for my long arms.

I couldn't help by think of the newspaper joke when picking out my outfit the other day.  My red jeans aren't Current/Elliott, but they do look like them.  I got my red skinnies at TJ Maxx for around $25, and I love them!  I don't want to spend top dollar on colored, trendy jeans, so a cheaper TJ Maxx version was perfect for my lifestyle.

Casual Workday Wear

This is what I wore to work one day this week.  The denim is a substitute that looks similar to the Paige Verdugo Denim I was wearing (there's no way I would spend that much on a pair of jeggings).  I also discovered recently that my local Anthropologie in San Antonio now has...SHOES!!  I am rejoicing.
